Teilif?s na Gaeilge (known as T na G) is a recently established television company aiming to establish the first all Irish speaking national television channel in the country. At the moment it is still in its inception stage, but is due to come on air in 1996. Programmes are currently being made at the station and will be aired when it comes on stream. It also supplies equipment for hire for other film and TV companies in the area as well as being involved in the promotion and encouragement of TV and documentary production in the Irish language, particularly amongst young people. Don't let the address put you off, T na G is located just outside the village of Spiddal, 15 miles from Galway and right in the heart of the Connemara Gaeltacht.
